2019 Honda Civic
Cold tire pressures for the 2019 Honda Civic sedan, from the 1.5 L and 2.0 L specification tables, matched to the printed tire sizes.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.
Main source: 2019 Civic Sedan Owner's Manual, tire specification tables (opens in a new tab), American Honda Motor Co., Inc., published 2018-10-26, read 2026-10-15.
Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Tire pressure gauge
Measure monthly and before long trips, including the spare. Tires lose about 1 to 2 psi per month even in good condition.
| Item | Figure | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 2.0 L, except Sport | 215/55R16 93H. Front and rear 32 psi (220 kPa, 2.2 kgf/cm2). Footnote *1, except Sport models. | 2.0 L tire table |
| 2.0 L, Sport | 235/40R18 91W. Front 33 psi (230 kPa, 2.3 kgf/cm2). Rear 32 psi (220 kPa, 2.2 kgf/cm2). Footnote *2, Sport models. | 2.0 L tire table |
| 2.0 L compact spare | T125/80D16 97M except Sport, or T125/70R17 98M on Sport. 60 psi (420 kPa, 4.2 kgf/cm2). | 2.0 L compact spare row |
| 1.5 L, without Sport, except Touring | 215/50R17 91H. Front and rear 32 psi (220 kPa, 2.2 kgf/cm2). | 1.5 L tire table, footnote *1 |
| 1.5 L, Touring, Sport, or the optional 95Y tire | 235/40R18 91W on Touring and on Sport, or 235/40R18 95Y on the U.S. Sport optional tire. Front 33 psi (225 kPa, 2.3 kgf/cm2). Rear 32 psi (220 kPa, 2.2 kgf/cm2). | 1.5 L tire table, footnotes *2, *3, and *4 |
| 1.5 L compact spare | T125/80D16 97M on models without Sport except Touring. T125/70R17 98M where footnotes *2, *5, and *6 apply. 60 psi (420 kPa, 4.2 kgf/cm2). Marked not available on all models. | 1.5 L compact spare row |
Read the size on the sidewall and use the table for that engine. A 2.0 L Sport front pressure is not the same number as a 1.5 L Sport front pressure.
On the 2.0 L table, except-Sport tires are 32 psi front and rear, and Sport tires are 33 psi front and 32 psi rear. On the 1.5 L table, footnote *1 is 32 psi front and rear, and footnotes *2, *3, and *4 are 33 psi front and 32 psi rear.
The compact spare pressure in both tables is 60 psi (420 kPa, 4.2 kgf/cm2). The 1.5 L spare is marked not available on all models.
The 2.0 L Sport front cell is printed as 33 psi (230 kPa, 2.3 kgf/cm2). The 1.5 L front cell for the 18-inch sizes is printed as 33 psi (225 kPa, 2.3 kgf/cm2). Those two metric figures are not the same, so this page keeps them apart. Wheel-nut tightening order is a figure in the flat-tire chapter and is not redrawn here.
