2021 Honda Civic
2021 Honda Civic sedan cold tire pressures and wheel-nut torque for the 1.5 L and 2.0 L pages. Sedan only.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.
Main source: 2021 Civic Sedan Owner's Manual, tire specifications and changing a flat tire (opens in a new tab), American Honda Motor Co., Inc., published 2020-08-25, read 2026-10-15.
Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Torque wrench
The flat-tire steps print 80 lbf-ft after the wheel is lowered. They also say not to add torque with a foot or a pipe.
Tire gauge
The pressures above are the cold pressures in the specifications tables.
| Item | Figure | Where it comes from |

| Wheel nut torque | 80 lbf-ft (108 N-m, 11 kgf-m) | Changing a flat tire |
Each figure stays with the source named in the last column. If a sequence is a figure in that source and the order is not printed in the text, this page does not invent the order.
| Fastener | Torque | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel nuts | 80 lbf-ft (108 N-m, 11 kgf-m) | Changing a flat tire |
On the 2.0 L page, 215/55R16 is 32 psi front and rear, and 235/40R18 is 33 psi front and 32 psi rear. On the 1.5 L page, 215/50R17 is 32 psi front and rear, and 235/40R18 is 33 psi front and 32 psi rear.
Footnote 2 spares are T125/80D16 97M on a 16 x 4T wheel. Footnote 3 spares are T125/70R17 98M on a 17 x 4T wheel. Both are 60 psi (420 kPa, 4.2 kgf/cm2).
Wipe the mounting surfaces, mount the spare, screw the nuts until they touch the lips around the mounting holes, lower the vehicle, and tighten in the order indicated in the manual's image. The torque is 80 lbf-ft (108 N-m, 11 kgf-m).
The 18-inch front pressure is 33 psi (225 kPa), not 230 kPa. That figure is printed on both the 1.5 L and 2.0 L sedan pages. The numbered tightening order stays in the manual's image.
