Privacy policy
15 October 2026. BaySheet is a free repair directory. There is no account. This page says what is stored, what other sites set when you leave, and how to decline advertising cookies.
Newsletter
The signup form asks for an email and, if you offer it, a vehicle. Until the list is connected, the address is checked and then dropped. Nothing is stored.
When the list is connected, BaySheet sends the address to Resend (opens in a new tab) as an unsubscribed contact and emails a confirmation link. The address is not subscribed until you open that link and confirm. Ignoring the email leaves it unsubscribed. The link expires after seven days.
The vehicle you type is carried only inside that confirmation link. It is not saved as a contact property. After you confirm, Resend keeps the email address so a note can be sent when a sheet is published. If an audience is configured, the confirmed address is filed there.
A hidden company field is a trap for bots. Filling it in does not subscribe you. The maintenance checklist is public. You do not have to join the list to read it.
Advertising and cookies
If an AdSense publisher id is configured, a cookie notice offers Accept and Decline. The choice is stored in this browser. Decline means the Google ad script is not loaded. Accept lets published job sheets load Google AdSense, including auto ads and, when an ad unit id is configured, one labeled advertisement after the notes.
AdSense may set cookies and use them to measure and personalize ads. Google describes that at How Google uses advertising cookies (opens in a new tab). You can review Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com (opens in a new tab). Coming-soon sheets do not load the ad script.
When no publisher id is configured, the notice is not shown and no ad script is added.
Amazon links
Parts and tools lists can include an Amazon search for the part type and the vehicle. Those links are labeled as affiliate links. Clicking one takes you to Amazon, which sets its own cookies and may attribute a purchase to BaySheet. BaySheet does not receive your Amazon account. The search is not a part number. Specifications on a sheet are not paid placements.
Sponsorship checkout
Sponsor buttons open a Stripe Payment Link on Stripe’s site when one is configured. BaySheet does not collect card numbers. Stripe’s own policy covers the payment page.
How to decline
- Choose Decline on the cookie notice. Advertising cookies from AdSense are not set by BaySheet.
- Do not submit the newsletter form, or ignore the confirmation email. An unconfirmed address stays unsubscribed.
- Do not follow an Amazon or other affiliate link if you do not want that site to see the visit.
BaySheet does not publish a contact address. To stay off the list, leave the confirmation email unopened.
