2024 Ford F-150
2024 F-150 cold tire pressure is on the door label. The manual's hot-tire example is not the truck's pressure.
| Item | Figure |
|---|---|
| Cold pressure | The recommended cold inflation pressure is on the tire label next to the tire size on the B-pillar or the edge of the driver door, and on the Safety Compliance Certification Label. That label is on the door hinge pillar, door-latch post, or the door edge that meets the door-latch on the B-pillar, or on the edge of the driver door. |
| Hot check | If pressures are checked after the tires have been driven more than three minutes or more than 1 mile (2 km), pressure increases by approximately 4 psi (27.6 kPa). When adjusting then, the gauge reading should be 4 psi (27.6 kPa) greater than the recommended cold pressure. Recheck once the tires are cold. |
| Information display | Do not use the tire pressure displayed in the information display as a tire pressure gauge. |
| Tread | Replace the tires when the tread is worn down to 2/32 inch (1.6 mm). |
| TPMS reset | Reset the system after each tire rotation on vehicles that require different recommended pressures in the front tires than in the rear tires. The procedure learns the left front, right front, right rear, and left rear sensors, then the tires are set to the label pressure. |

Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.

Tire gauge
The manual says to check pressure at the B-pillar with an accurate gauge. The information display is not that gauge.

Find the recommended cold pressure on the tire label or the Safety Compliance Certification Label. Do not use the pressure shown in the information display as a gauge.
After more than three minutes or more than 1 mile (2 km) of driving, pressure is about 4 psi (27.6 kPa) higher. If you adjust then, set the gauge 4 psi (27.6 kPa) above the recommended cold pressure, then recheck when the tires are cold.
Drive above 20 mph (32 km/h) for at least two minutes, park where you can reach all four tires and an air pump, switch the ignition off, then switch it on without starting the engine. Switch the hazard flashers on, then off, three times within 10 seconds. One horn sound, a flashing indicator, and a message mean reset mode. If that does not happen, start again at the ignition-off step.
The hot-tire section prints an example so the 4 psi rule can be followed. The block is labeled For Example Only. This page does not file those illustrated pressures as the F-150 specification.
No lug-nut torque was printed next to the tire-care steps that were read, so none is stated. The Raptor bead-lock section says to torque lug nuts to specification and does not print the number. That section is not this page's procedure.
