2017 Ford Fusion
2017 Fusion halogen headlamps are H7LL high beam and H11LL low beam. Several lamps are LED and are not serviceable. LED headlamps go to a dealer.
| Item | Figure |
|---|---|
| Halogen headlamp | High beam H7LL. Low beam H11LL. Bulbs must be marked D.O.T. for North America. Do not touch the glass. The bulb does not separate from the holder. |
| Front park and turn | Park lamp W5W. Front turn PWY24W. Front fog H11. |
| Reverse and license | Reverse lamp 921. License plate lamp W5W. |
| LED lamps | Front side marker, front direction indicators, daytime running lamps, side direction indicators, center high-mount brake lamp, rear direction indicators, and brake and rear lamps are listed as LED and are not serviceable. |
| Dealer rows | Rows marked with an asterisk say to see an authorized dealer. That mark is on the halogen headlamps as well as the LED rows. The chart still prints the halogen trade numbers and a twist-out procedure. |

Flat-bladed screwdriver
Removing the headlamp assembly uses a flat-bladed screwdriver on push pins and on the bumper-cover screws. The bulb twist-out itself does not name a screwdriver.

Halogen high beam is H7LL and low beam is H11LL. The LED list, including LED headlamps, is not a bulb job.
Ignition and lamps off. Remove the cover, disconnect the connector, and turn the holder counterclockwise. The bulb stays in the holder. Install in reverse.
Front park is W5W, front turn is PWY24W, fog is H11, reverse is 921, and license is W5W. Starred rows say to see a dealer. The license procedure that is printed uses a tool such as a screwdriver to lift the lamp, then turns the holder and pulls the bulb straight out.
Headlamp aim is a separate procedure: 25 feet (7.6 meters) from a wall, an 8 foot (2.4 meter) horizontal reference at the height of the bulb center, and a Phillips number 2 screwdriver on the vertical adjuster. Horizontal aim is not adjustable. That aiming target is not a bulb part number.
The wiper guide is the next maintenance item in the book and does not share these trade numbers.
