At every oil-change interval the information display indicates, inspect the brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake linings, hoses, and parking brake. Do not exceed one year or 10,000 mi (16,000 km) between service intervals. Brake Fluid Level Low means the fluid level is low and the brake system should be inspected immediately.
A level between the MAX and MIN lines is within the normal operating range and there is no need to add fluid. A level outside that range can compromise the system. Have the truck checked. The capacity tables describe the brake-fluid fill as between MIN and MAX on the reservoir.
The materials tables name Motorcraft DOT 4 LV High Performance Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid, part PM-20, specification WSS-M6C65-A2. The note says Ford recommends DOT 4 LV or equivalent meeting that specification, and that other fluid may degrade braking and fail to meet Ford's performance standards. Keep the fluid clean and dry.
Power steering on this truck is electric. The fluid check next to the brake section says there is no power-steering reservoir to fill. That is a different system from the brake reservoir. No lug-nut torque was read for this year, so this page does not borrow one from another F-150.

Not in the brake-fluid check or the maintenance tables that were read. The normal schedule says to inspect the pads, shoes, rotors, drums, linings, hoses, and parking brake at every oil-change interval.
