2008 Ford Escape
Front and rear wiper blade replacement for the 2008 Ford Escape, using the two procedures in the owner's guide. Blade length is not stated there.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.
Main source: 2008 Escape (204) Owner's Guide, USA, wiper blade section (opens in a new tab), Ford Motor Company, published 2008-01-01, read 2026-10-15.
Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Soft cloth
The guide says poor wiping can be improved by cleaning the blades and the windshield before you decide the blade is worn out.
Pull the wiper blade and arm away from the glass. Turn the blade to a right angle from the arm. Squeeze the locking tabs, pull the blade off the arm, then snap the new blade on until it attaches.
The rear arm has no service position. Hold the arm close to the joint and pull it away from the glass without forcing the heel. Hold it there. Grab the blade near the joint, push the joint from underneath, and separate the blade. Press the new blade on until it clicks. The guide says to see a dealer if that is too difficult.
The guide says to replace wiper blades at least once a year, and to clean the blades and the glass when the wipe is poor. It does not print a blade length.
The owner's guide describes the motion of the arm and the blade. It does not show a measured connector or a blade length, so this page does not add a drawing.
Outbound links only. BaySheet does not sell parts. Confirm fitment on the retailer page. Amazon links are searches for the part name plus this vehicle. They are not a part number.
