Put the headlamp control in OFF and open the hood.
Reach over the front bolster. Turn the bulb counterclockwise and pull it straight out. Disconnect the electrical connector.
Connect the connector to the new bulb. Insert the glass end into the headlamp. When the grooves in the plastic base line up, turn the bulb clockwise. The chart lists H13 for the high and low beam, two bulbs.
The bulb chart also lists a 168 for the license plate lamps, a W5WL high-mount stop lamp, and a 3157A amber park lamp. Those jobs use their own steps later in the same chapter. This sheet only walks through the headlamp, because that is the procedure read in full. No lamp outline is drawn. The guide's "reach over the front bolster" line is not enough to place the bulb in a picture.
