Published repairs below cite a manual or a manufacturer chart. Coming soon pages are names only. Capacities and torque on this year stay on this year.
2015 uses the June 20, 2014 owner's manual printing. 2018, 2019, and 2020 use later books. The 2015 5.3L and 6.2L oil row is not the 2020 row.
Brake pad and rotor pages are 2018 and 2020 only. 2015 and 2019 do not have that page because those brake chapters were not the books read.
2014 and 2016–2017 share the K2 body with 2015, and they are not filed here. Do not copy the 2015 table onto those years.
2024 tire pressure is the March 1, 2024 owner's manual, part 85516379 C. It is not the 2018 or 2020 book. 2025 is not filed. The 2024 engine heater page uses that same book.
Copied from the published guides for this year. Each figure stays with that guide and that guide's source. Open the guide before you use it.
| Guide | Item | Figure |
|---|---|---|
| Engine block heater | When to plug in | If equipped, the engine heater can make starting easier and improve fuel economy during warm-up at or below -18°C (0°F). Plug in at least four hours before starting. |
| Engine block heater | Thermostat | An internal thermostat in the plug end of the cord may prevent heater operation above -18°C (0°F). |
| Engine block heater | Outlet | Grounded 110-volt AC outlet protected by a ground fault detection function. Use a three-prong receptacle. If an extension cord is needed, use a weatherproof heavy-duty 15-amp cord. |
| Tire pressure | Cold pressure | The Tire and Loading Information label shows the original equipment tire size and the recommended cold inflation pressures. The book does not print one psi number for every truck. |
| Tire pressure | When cold | Check once a month or more, including the spare if the vehicle has one. Cold means the vehicle has not been driven for at least three hours or no more than 1.6 km (1 mi). |
| Tire pressure | Cool weather | The low tire pressure warning light may come on in cool weather when the vehicle is first started, and then turn off as the vehicle is driven. That can be an early sign the pressure is low and needs to be set to the label. |
| Tire pressure | Malfunction | If the low tire pressure warning light flashes for about a minute and then stays on, the TPMS may not be working. The light and the Driver Information Center message come on at each start until the problem is corrected. |
