2025 Tacoma oil is ILSAC GF-6A SAE 0W-20. Drain-and-refill with the filter is 5.9 qt for the T24A-FTS.

Park on level ground. With the engine at operating temperature, turn it off and wait about 5 minutes so the oil can drain back. Hold a rag under the dipstick, wipe it, seat it, and read it. The level should be above the low level mark.
Use Toyota Genuine Motor Oil or equivalent meeting ILSAC GF-6A. SAE 0W-20 is the best choice for fuel economy and cold starting. SAE 5W-20 may be used only if 0W-20 is unavailable, and it must be replaced with 0W-20 at the next change. Turn the filler cap counterclockwise, add oil slowly, and turn the cap clockwise. The top-up span from the low mark to the refill upper limit is 1.5 qt (1.4 L, 1.2 Imp. qt.).
The with-filter reference is 5.9 qt (5.6 L, 4.9 Imp. qt.). Without the filter it is 5.6 qt (5.3 L, 4.7 Imp. qt.). The capacity footnote says to warm the engine, turn it off, wait about 8 minutes, and check the dipstick, and not to exceed the refill upper limit. The maintenance steps say about 5 minutes. Both sentences are in this book.
