2019 Chevrolet Equinox
2019 Chevrolet Equinox oil capacity with filter. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive do not share a quantity on GM's chart.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.
Main source: GM TechLink engine oil capacities chart, 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, U.S. and Canada (opens in a new tab), General Motors, published 2019-09-01, read 2026-10-15.
Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.

| Item | Figure | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|

| 2.0L LTG, all-wheel drive, with filter | 5.7 L (6.0 qt), SAE 5W-30 | 2019 Equinox rows on the GM TechLink chart |
GM's 2019 U.S. and Canada chart lists the Equinox 1.5L LYX at 4.2 qt of SAE 0W-20 with front-wheel drive and 5.3 qt of SAE 0W-20 with all-wheel drive, both with the filter. The 2.0L LTG is 5.0 qt of SAE 5W-30 with front-wheel drive and 6.0 qt of SAE 5W-30 with all-wheel drive.
The 1.6L diesel LH7 is 5.3 qt of dexos2 SAE 5W-30 with the filter. That is the same quart figure as the all-wheel-drive 1.5L and a different oil.
Use the chart as the with-filter refill quantity, then read the dipstick on level ground. The chart does not print a drain procedure, a plug torque, or a picture of the pan.
The same PDF repeats these Equinox rows on the 2020 Chevrolet page. This sheet is filed under 2019 because that is the table that was checked line by line. Confirm a 2020 car against the 2020 heading before you reuse the numbers. No diagram is included.
Outbound links only. BaySheet does not sell parts. Confirm fitment on the retailer page. Amazon links are searches for the part name plus this vehicle. They are not a part number.
