Each figure stays with the source named in the last column. If a sequence is a figure in that source and the order is not printed in the text, this page does not invent the order.
| Fastener | Torque | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel nuts | 76 ft-lbf (103 N-m, 10.5 kgf-m) | Wheel nut torque, each tire type |
2WD types A through E are 35 psi (240 kPa) front and rear. 2WD type F, 235/40R19 96Y, is 33 psi (230 kPa). AWD types A, B, and C are 36 psi (250 kPa). AWD type D is 35 psi (240 kPa).
Every type lists spare T155/70D17 110M at 60 psi (420 kPa) on a 17 x 4 T wheel.
Above 100 mph, add 5 psi (30 kPa) to the front tires and the rear tires. Do not add it to the spare, and do not pass the sidewall maximum.
Each type prints 76 ft-lbf (103 N-m, 10.5 kgf-m).
Inspect for a puncture. If none, turn the engine switch off, then to ON on a vehicle without a smart key or to IGNITION ON on a vehicle with a smart key. If the light comes on, let the tires cool, set the cold pressure, and wait several minutes. If it is still on, initialize. If it is still on several minutes after initialization, have a Toyota dealer inspect it. A blink for 1 minute that then stays on is a malfunction, and the manual says to have the dealer inspect it immediately.
Park and stop the engine for 20 minutes or more. Set the specified cold pressure. Start the engine. Initialization cannot start while the vehicle is moving, and the current pressure becomes the benchmark. The display icons are figures in the manual and are not named here.
35 psi is 240 kPa, 33 psi is 230 kPa, 36 psi is 250 kPa, and 60 psi is 420 kPa. The type letters are the manual's own labels. This page does not translate them into trim names.
Initialize when pressure is changed for speed or load, when the tire size is changed, when the tires are rotated, and, on vehicles with the pressure display, after transmitter ID registration. The tires must be cold. Open the owner's manual (opens in a new tab) for the display icons. This page does not redraw them.
