Park on level ground. Wait about three minutes after turning the engine off. The level should be between the upper and lower marks. Add oil if it is near or below the lower mark, and do not fill above the upper mark.
Run the engine to normal operating temperature, shut it off, remove the fill cap, and take off the under cover. The cover uses phillips-head and slotted-head screws turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Remove the drain bolt and washer and drain into a suitable container.
Pour in the recommended oil. The procedure prints the change capacity including the filter as 3.7 US qt (3.5 L). Refit the fill cap, run the engine a few minutes, and check for leaks at the drain bolt and the filter.
The specifications table is the source for 0W-20. The recommended-oil page also points at an ambient-temperature image, and that image is not redrawn here. Tire pressures from the same specifications pages are on the 2023 tire-pressure guide. The 2015 oil guide and the 2020 oil guide are other books.

This 2023 gas book prints the change steps. It does not use the dealer-only warning that the 2020 CR-V oil page on this site quotes. Do not copy that warning onto this year.
The maintenance checklist is on the site now. The email list is not sending yet, so this box will not store an address.
