The 4.3L V6 1500 Series is 15.9 qt. The 5.3L V8 1500 Series and the 6.2L V8 1500 Series are each 16.6 qt.
The capacity introduction says the figures are approximate and that the level should be rechecked after filling.
No bleed sequence is printed in the capacity table, so none is added. A diesel engine uses the Duramax supplement instead of these gasoline capacities.
