Numbers on a guide come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Support the vehicle with jack stands rated for its weight before you get under it. A floor jack by itself is not enough. Hot coolant is pressurized. Let the engine cool before you open the cap, a hose, or the drain. Disclaimer · Terms of use

Safety Do not use anything other than DEX-COOL meeting GMW3420 and clean, drinkable water, except where the hybrid row specifies premix. The 1.8L hybrid premix is not the mix-it-yourself 50/50 row. The high-voltage battery cooling capacity is not engine coolant. If the coolant in the surge tank is boiling, the book says to do nothing else until it cools. Symptoms The engine runs hot. The 1.8L hybrid surge tank is not 5 to 10 mm (0.2 to 0.4 in) above the midpoint when cold. Diagnosis Gasoline 1.5L is 6.9 qt. 1.8L engine capacity is 7.4 qt. 2.0L is 7.2 qt.
