2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2015 Silverado 1500 cooling-system capacity from the June 20, 2014 owner's manual. The 4.3L is 15.9 qt. The 5.3L and 6.2L are 16.6 qt.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.
Main source: 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Owner Manual, CRC 6/20/14, capacities and specifications (opens in a new tab), General Motors, published 2014-06-20, read 2026-10-15.
Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
The coolant named in Recommended Fluids and Lubricants
Open that section in the 2015 manual before you buy coolant. This page does not guess the chemistry.

4.3L is 15.9 qt (15.1 L). 5.3L is 16.6 qt (15.7 L). 6.2L is 16.6 qt (15.7 L).
The capacity page says to see Recommended Fluids and Lubricants. That section was not the extract used for the quarts, so the coolant name is not stated here.
The 6.0L cooling quantity is labeled 2500 and 3500. It is not added to a 1500.
Oil for this printing is on the 2015 oil guide. The 2020 coolant guide names DEX-COOL and different quarts. Do not mix the years.
Outbound links only. BaySheet does not sell parts. Confirm fitment on the retailer page. Amazon links are searches for a real part name plus this vehicle. Tool rows do not get a product search. The search is not a part number.

Coolant specified in the 2015 Recommended Fluids section
Buy that coolant, not a type copied from the 2020 DEX-COOL sentence. The 2020 book is a different truck.

The maintenance checklist is on the site now. The email list is not sending yet, so this box will not store an address.
Same repair, different model year. Use the page that matches the truck or car in the driveway. A figure on one year is not a figure for the next.
These guides cover the same kind of work. Their numbers belong to those vehicles, not to this one.
