2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2018 Silverado wheel nut torque is 140 lb ft (190 N·m). The capacity table prints one figure for the manual.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.
Main source: 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Owner Manual, GMNA 11349200, CRC 2/27/18, capacities and specifications (opens in a new tab), General Motors, published 2018-02-27, read 2026-10-15.
Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Torque wrench
The capacity table prints the torque. It does not print a tightening sequence.
Each figure stays with the source named in the last column. If a sequence is a figure in that source and the order is not printed in the text, this page does not invent the order.
| Fastener | Torque | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel nut | 140 lb ft (190 N·m) | Capacities and Specifications, wheel nut torque |
The capacities table lists wheel nut torque as 190 N·m and 140 lb ft.
The capacity note says the figures are approximate and that fluid level should be rechecked after filling. The torque cell itself is a specification, not a fluid level.
No cold tire-pressure table is printed next to this torque, so no pressures are added. The manual tells you to see the wheel-nut torque under Capacities and Specifications when a wheel is reinstalled.
