Safety The 32 psi figures are for the two sizes in this table. Do not apply them to a different size. Do not bleed a hot tire. Heat raises the pressure. Do not mix tire makes, constructions, or summer, all-season, and snow tires. Snow tires go on all four wheels. Any tire over 6 years old must be checked by a qualified technician, even if it looks fine. Liquid sealant can damage the tire-pressure sensors. The book says to have the sensor replaced when the tire is replaced. Rotation order is a figure, and it is different for trucks with P245/60R20 tires. The figure is not redrawn. Symptoms Two weeks have passed since the last gauge check. The treadwear indicators are showing. Replace the tire. Snow-tire tread is below 0.16 in. (4 mm). The book says the snow-tire effect is gone. Diagnosis Both listed sizes use the same 32 psi front, rear, and spare. The label on the truck is still the placard. The specification table prints the same 32 psi numbers. Specifications Cited specifications for this repair Item Figure Where it comes from Sizes in the table P265/70R17 113S and P245/60R20 107H. 03 Rotate on the figure for that tireTrucks without P245/60R20 tires use one illustration. Trucks with those tires use another. This page does not redraw either order.
Notes Lug torque is not this pressure. Steel and aluminum wheels use different torques, on the lug nut guide .
The loading label is also in the manual. The specification table is the source of the 32 psi numbers above.
Common mistakes Using one rotation drawing for both the 17-inch and the P245/60R20 trucks. The book prints two orders. Judging pressure by looking at the tire. Skipping the spare.
