Tire pressure gauge
Press the gauge squarely on the valve stem. If you hear air escaping, reseat it.
| Item | Figure | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 235/65R18, front and rear | 33 psi, 230 kPa | Checking tire pressure |
| 235/55R20, front and rear | 35 psi, 240 kPa | Checking tire pressure |

| When the tire is cold | Parked for 3 or more hours, or driven less than 1 mile (1.6 km) at moderate speeds. | Tire inflation pressure |
A tire is cold after the vehicle has been parked for 3 or more hours, or driven less than 1 mile (1.6 km) at moderate speeds.
Remove the valve cap, press the gauge on squarely, and compare the reading with the size in this year's table. Add or release air, recheck, and install the cap. Check every tire, including the spare.
This year's checking table does not print a 255/60R18 row or a 100 mph pressure. Those rows are later books.
2017 Pathfinder Owner's Manual and Maintenance Information. The March 2017 supplement in the same PDF is the panoramic-sunshade note, not the fluid table. This year's checking table does not print a 255/60R18 row or a 100 mph pressure. Those rows are later books.
The wheel lug nut guide is the torque after a wheel is installed. It is not a tire pressure.

Yes. The book says the recommended pressures are on the certification label or the Tire and Loading Information label. The checking table prints the figures for the original sizes it lists.
The maintenance checklist is on the site now. The email list is not sending yet, so this box will not store an address.
Same repair, different model year. Use the page that matches the truck or car in the driveway. A figure on one year is not a figure for the next.
These guides cover the same kind of work. Their numbers belong to those vehicles, not to this one.
