Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Torque wrench
The flat-tire section says to tighten the nuts to the specified torque with a torque wrench as soon as possible.
Each figure stays with the source named in the last column. If a sequence is a figure in that source and the order is not printed in the text, this page does not invent the order.
| Fastener | Torque | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel nuts | 83 ft-lb (113 N·m) | Changing a flat tire, and the specifications table |
The flat-tire section says to tighten the nuts securely in the illustrated sequence, then lower the vehicle completely.
Wheel nut tightening torque is 83 ft-lb (113 N·m). The same figure is repeated in the specifications.
Retighten the wheel nuts when the vehicle has been driven for 600 miles (1,000 km), including after a flat tire.
Tire sizes are printed in the wheels-and-tires table. Cold inflation pressure is not printed next to those sizes. It belongs on the Tire and Loading Information label, so no psi figure is added on this page.
