2023 Hyundai Tucson
2023 Tucson full-size tires print 35 psi (240 kPa) in the normal-load cell. The compact spare is 60 psi (420 kPa). The notice allows 3 psi more in coming cold.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.

Numbers on this page come from the cited source. Match the engine before you use a capacity or a torque. Do not work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
Tire gauge
The table prints a normal-load pressure. It does not print separate front and rear numbers for that cell.
| Item | Figure | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 235/65R17 | Wheel 7.0J x 17. Normal-load cell 35 psi (240 kPa). The maximum-load cells are blank. | Tires and wheels |
| 235/55R19 | Wheel 7.5J x 19. Normal-load cell 35 psi (240 kPa). The maximum-load cells are blank. | Tires and wheels |
| Compact spare, T135/90D17 | Wheel 4.0B x 17. 60 psi (420 kPa). | Tires and wheels |
| Cold-weather allowance | It is permissible to add 3 psi to the standard specification if colder temperatures are expected soon. Tires typically lose 1 psi (7 kPa) for every 12 F (7 C) temperature drop. Do not exceed the sidewall maximum. | Tires and wheels notice |
235/65R17 on a 7.0J x 17 wheel and 235/55R19 on a 7.5J x 19 wheel both show 35 psi (240 kPa) in the normal-load columns.
T135/90D17 on a 4.0B x 17 wheel is 60 psi (420 kPa).
If colder temperatures are expected soon, the notice says it is permissible to add 3 psi to the standard specification. It also says tires typically lose 1 psi (7 kPa) for every 12 F (7 C) drop, and that elevation changes can change pressure, so recheck. Do not exceed the maximum on the sidewall.
When replacing tires, the caution says to use the same size, type, brand, construction, and tread pattern supplied with the vehicle. The door-jamb label is the vehicle's tire placard. This page quotes the tires-and-wheels table in the NX4a manual.
