At ambient temperature, the level belongs between the MIN and MAX marks. Hot coolant expands and may sit past MAX.
Remove the cap, add coolant to the MAX mark, and turn the cap clockwise until you feel a strong resistance. Do not overfill.
The note says that, in an emergency, you can add water without coolant in order to reach a service location. Prolonged use of the wrong dilution can cause corrosion, overheating, or freezing.
The capacity is one engine-coolant figure for this manual. It is not split by cab or drivetrain in the table.
