2021 Ford Explorer
2021 Explorer engine air filters are FA-1884 on the 2.3L and 3.0L tables and FA-1947 on the 3.3L. Boot clamp torque is 3.69 lb-ft.

Each written procedure loosens a clamp with a screwdriver. The 3.0L procedure loosens two clamps.

2.3L: remove the clips, loosen one clamp, pull the boot back, and lift the cover. 3.0L: remove the clips, loosen two clamps, and pull two boots back. 3.3L: release the clamps, loosen one clamp, and pull the boot back. The 3.3L figure is marked x2. The written step says clamps.
Wipe the housing and cover. Install the new element without crimping its edges. FA-1884 is on the 2.3L and 3.0L tables. FA-1947 is on the 3.3L table.
Install the cover, engage the clips, reconnect the boot or boots, and torque the clamp to 3.69 lb.ft (5 Nm). The 3.3L closing step says clips even though the opening step says clamps.
The 3.0L air-filter heading does not say ST. This page does not extend that procedure onto the 3.0L ST specifications page.
