Safety

• Washer solvents are flammable.
• Do not run the blades long on dry glass. Use washer fluid to clear salt or dirt.
• Do not use the blades to remove frost or ice. Keep the rubber off petroleum products such as engine oil and gasoline.
• Do not put radiator antifreeze in the washer reservoir.
• On a cold windshield, warm the engine and run the defroster for a few minutes before using the washer, so the fluid does not smear or freeze.

• The blades chatter, leave marks or water lines, or leave wet spots after the glass is cleaned.
• The Low Washer Fluid light is on.

Diagnosis

1. Clean the rubber and the glass first. The book says life varies by region and use, and poor performance may only need cleaning.
2. The gallon figure is the amount the reservoir will hold when the light is on. It is not a separate capacity table.
