The 2019 Ram 1500 fluid-capacities table lists two gasoline engines. The 3.6L with filter is 5 quarts (4.7 L) of SAE 0W-20, API certified. The 5.7L with filter is 7 quarts (6.6 L) of SAE 5W-20, API certified.
Buy the viscosity on the row for the engine in the truck. The table recommends API certified oil of that grade. It does not describe removing the drain plug or the filter.
After the oil and filter are changed, confirm the level on the dipstick with the truck on level ground. Do not copy the 5.7L quantity onto the 3.6L.
This is the DT-generation 2019 Ram 1500 table. The page does not cover a different Ram body or a diesel that is absent from these two rows. No diagram is included, because the table has no layout to copy.
