2020 Ford Escape
2020 Escape automatic transmission capacities are approximate dry fill of MERCON ULV. They are not a drain-and-fill amount.
Difficulty, time, and cost are estimates when this guide gives them. Torque is a cited figure, or it is left off.

Authorized dealer for a transmission fluid change
The fluid-check section says the transmission has no dipstick and that a dealer checks and changes the fluid.

The transmission code is on the Safety Compliance Certification Label. Code 7 is 8F24, code 8 is 8F35, and code 5 is the hybrid H4F45.
The 1.5L chapter prints 8.5 qt for the 8F24 and 11.6 qt for the 8F35. The 2.0L chapter prints 11.6 qt for All. The 2.5L hybrid chapter prints 5.0 qt for All. Each note says approximate dry fill.
There is no transmission dipstick. The manual says to have an authorized dealer check and change the fluid. These quarts are not a drain-and-fill recipe.
The 2.0L quantity row does not name a transmission model. This page does not attach the 8F35 name to that 11.6 qt figure. The code table and the capacity row stay separate facts.
