Turn the engine switch off. Open the glove box and slide off the damper. Push in each side of the glove box to disconnect the claws, then slowly and fully open the glove box while supporting it.
With the glove box fully open, slightly lift it and pull toward the seat to detach the bottom. If it does not come free with a light pull, adjust the height instead of forcing it.
Unlock the filter cover, pull the filter cover out of the claws, and remove the filter cover. Remove the filter case. Replace the filter with the UP marks pointing up. Install in reverse.
Helm lists OM0R024U as the 2020 RAV4. Inspect and replace the filter on the maintenance schedule. Dusty areas or heavy traffic can require earlier replacement. The page points to the Owner's Manual Supplement or Scheduled Maintenance. If airflow from the vents decreases dramatically, check the filter.
