Vehicles without a smart key system: turn the engine switch to the LOCK position. Vehicles with a smart key system: turn the engine switch off. Open the glove box.
Remove the cover by sliding it up, then pull the cover toward you. Remove the filter cover and pull the filter out of the filter outlet.
Replace the filter with a new one. When installing, follow the instructions indicated on the label. The book does not print a part number.
Publication OM04029U puts the cabin filter behind the glove box. This printing does not list a glove-box tray. The cover arrows are a figure, so they are not redrawn. If airflow from the vents decreases dramatically, the filter may be clogged.
