Conventional wrench
The do-it-yourself table lists a conventional wrench for the terminal clamp bolts, plus warm water, baking soda, and grease for the battery condition check.

Make sure the terminals are not corroded and that there are no loose connections, cracks, or loose clamps. The figure labels the terminals and the hold-down clamp.
Open voltage at 68°F (20°C) is 12.3 V or higher. Check it 20 minutes after the engine and all lights are turned off. After charging, turn the high beams on for 30 seconds with the engine switch at LOCK (no smart key) or off (smart key), then turn the headlights off.
On vehicles with a smart key system, shift to P, open and close any door, and restart the engine. If the doors will not unlock from the smart key right away, use the wireless remote or the mechanical key.
Publication OM04025U tells you to check the battery exterior and limits a recharge to 5 A. The terminal drawing is a figure, so it is not redrawn here. If the engine still will not start after several attempts, the book says to contact a Toyota dealer.
