The book says the full up position.
Raise the cover, press the release tab, hold the arm, and slide the blade down. Then remove it from the arm.
Hook through the opening, slide up until the click, close the cover, and lower the arm gently. Do not let it spring back without a blade.
Clean the rubber and the glass with a sponge or soft cloth and a mild nonabrasive cleaner. Do not run the blades on dry glass for long periods, and keep the rubber away from petroleum products.
