2019 Cherokee cabin filter is behind the passenger hush panel. The arrow shows airflow. Do not remove the filter while the blower can run.

Do not remove the filter with the ignition in ACC, ON, or RUN.
Note the position indicators, pull the filter straight out, and install the new filter the same way.
