A high-pitched wear warning means new pads are needed. Have the vehicle serviced. A light squeal on the first touch is not, by itself, that warning.
Look at the pads. No minimum thickness is printed, so this page does not invent one.
Level between the marks, vehicle in Park on level ground. Fluid is GM approved DOT 3, GM Part No. 19353126, in Canada 19299819, from a sealed container. Brake fluid absorbs water. Replace it at the intervals in the maintenance schedule rather than by topping off.
Lug torque is 140 N·m (100 lb ft) on the wheel lug nut guide. No caliper torque is printed.
2018 GMC Terrain/Terrain Denali Owner's Manual, document Mexico-10664916, CRC 9/15/17. Rear drums, if the car has them, do not have wear indicators. The book says to inspect the linings if a rear rubbing noise is heard, and to inspect the drums when the tires are off. No drum measurement is printed.
Wheel nuts are the wheel lug nut guide.
